Getting Help


The teamwork with many partners in helping parents/carers get access to additional services. We liaise with schools/colleges, social workers, NHS, parent advocacy services etc. 

Early Help Assessment: Coordinated support with a TAF whole family. 

Homestart are based in Southport, offering befriending and family support services.

Housing Options EIP Team (Early intervention and Prevention) support with Section 21 evictions before they move into statutory timeframes. The team will support with a range of interventions including, but not limited to, supporting with the following: landlord negotiations, PPP applications, advising with PRS and referrals to other specialist support eg. Welfare Rights.  

  • Family support group inspiring children to get involved with nature.  
  • Project for refugee women and children, which supports the development of language skills.  

Early Help Housing Practitioner: Advice and assistance to Lead Practitioners in relation to tenancy sustainment move on options for families in unsuitable accommodation - e.g., overcrowding, property disrepair, ASB, DA. Advice and assistance with Eviction Notices, rent arrears, illegal evictions, and access to Legal Advice. Guidance to Lead Practitioners on Homelessness Reduction Act and Duty to Refer. 

Clinical service in Southport and Bootle providing all contraceptive choices & STI testing, treatment and contact tracing.
