Formby library

Formby Library is a 5 minute walk from Formby Railway Station, situated opposite Duke Street Park. It offers a range of activities for all ages within the community. Rhymetimes for preschool children are run three times a week. They are held in the junior library, which adjoins the lovely garden, home to library beehives. A weekly Lego Club runs once a week for children and families.

Adult activities include a Creative Writing Group, Breastfeeding Support Group, Visually Impaired Reading Group, Coffee Mornings, IT One to One sessions and talks by local speakers.

An IT suite which includes computers and a scanner is also on site, with printing and photocopying services available. Seating and tables for studying are also available.

Formby Library has two bookable rooms, a large meeting room and a smaller consultation room, which can be hired out on request and for fee. Contact the library for more information.

There is a community car park adjacent to the library which can be used free of charge.
